Kade Meyer is a 2023 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from The Woodlands, TX who attends The John Cooper. Large frame with a lean build showing a high waist and room to fill, making him projectable. Ran a 7.99 second sixty yard dash. Primary Left-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Lifts with slight coil at the top before working down the hill. Gets over the front side and stays direct to dish. Shorter arm action with a higher slot release. Fluid arm stroke as he went right after hitters. Fastball up to 75 mph with arm side run at times. Also mixed in a fading changeup that he tunneled well off the fastball. Rounded the arsenal off with breaking ball showing vertical actions in the low-60's. Secondary First Baseman, good first step actions as he worked into the baseball with confidence. Scooped it up showing feel for the leather and worked into a quick transfer. Accurate with throws turning two and showed proper footwork. Secondary Outfielder, smooth strides as he stays under control into the baseball. Clean gather to the side before working into transfer. Accurate throws to the bag as he was up to 75 mph during drills. Left-Handed Hitter, even base to start with hands off the back shoulder. Strides out before landing in a good hitting position. Rhythmic swing as he found the barrel often. Drove it gap to gap and showed off the power in games with a loud double to straight away centerfield. Great Student. Named to Fall Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
