James "Sawyer" Sawyer is a 2025 RHP/ with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Greenville, NC who attends D H Conley. Recorded an 8.24 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher moves with a full wind up and a long side step into an up-tempo, high leg lift as he drops the back leg and rides it down the mound with good extension explosion on release out of a high three-quarter arm slot. His fastball was topping 82 mph and exhibits good life alongside a tight, sweeping slider at 71 mph. Showcasing in the infield with good glove actions and an accurate, strong arm throwing 73 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate demonstrating good bad speed and quick hands with the ability to show consistent contact using good barrel control while also working the ball to pull side with good impact.
