Tyler Lyle is a 2027 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Prior Lake, MN who attends Prior Lake. He has a good frame with a high waist and a lean frame with plenty of room to fill. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.57 seconds. Primary left-handed pitcher that works from the middle of the rubber. He uses a knee to stomach leg kick that is smooth and under control. He uses a shorter stride down the mound and lands in line with the plate. He uses a medium arm action and delivers from a low 3/4 arm slot. His shoulder is loose and allows him to create nice whip through his throwing motion. He works his fastball to both sides of the plate and gets ahead of hitters. He uses a sharp curveball with tons of break to put hitters away. He has a lot of confidence in the off speed pitch and can throw it in any count. Secondary first baseman that works into a good position and fields the ball in the center of his body. He has a quick arm action and delivers the ball accurately to his target. He showed nice footwork around the base. Also worked out ion the outfield, showing nice hand speed on his throws. Left-handed hitter that starts with an even base and low hands and a low back elbow. He uses a small leg lift trigger for timing and stays direct to the baseball. He showed good hand speed and does a nice job of working on plane with the baseball. He has an up-the-middle approach and looks to make line drive contact. Named to the 2023 14U Midwest All-State Games Top Prospect List.
