Zachary Small is a 2024 RHP/3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Oceanside, CA who attends Oceanside. Medium athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength. Slow to fast mechanics on the mound, compact arm action with a tight 3/4's release, has some energy at release that creates inconsistency. Fastball worked up to 88 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side running life. Threw a soft curveball as his secondary pitch. Developing better fastball command will be key to his development. Verbal commitment to Hawaii.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
