Jaylon Harvey is a 2023 OF/MIF with a 5-3 120 lb. frame from Justice, IL who attends Solorio. Shorter athletic build. 7.02 runner in the sixty. Showed very good first step quickness in both the infield and outfield on defense, really gets to the ball well, has good footwork into his throws, chance to have plus range at second base in particular, arm strength developing from both positions but likely plays best at second base moving forward, plays defense with energy. Right handed hitter, starts his swing with closed feet and hips and a tight hand load, leans into his swing and looks to hit middle to away, hands the barrel well and has some hand quickness, might be better served with better direction into contact and an all fields approach, hits from a slight crouch and is a tough zone for any pitcher to throw to.
