Andres Leal is a 2027 1B/RHP, 3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from San Juan, TX who attends PSJA. Larger, thick frame for the age with present size in both halves. Ran a 8.65 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, solid throws across the diamond and to second, can drop the slot some, slower actions but made the plays cleanly, handled the spot well with no issues in the round. Secondary right-handed pitcher, staggered feet set, drop step to belt high leg lift, mid depth arm action and comes through the three-quarters slot, tries to work the bottom half of the zone, developing feel on the slider right now that pushes across the body, worked around the zone, working to refine overall mechanics and arm speed right now. Took reps in the infield, deliberate actions and feet, clean two hand gather out front to smooth transfer and release, accurate throws to the bag, more corner actions. Right-handed hitter, tries to get hands extended off the body, works it uphill some, high hands, working to find feel for the barrel. Will improve with overall strength and size.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
