2023 PG Underclass All-American Games
Matt McKnight is a 2025 3B/SS with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Charlotte Christian. Features a taller build with some present physicality and projection. In the INF, showed solid fundamental actions. Glove gets down late at times but fields it clean with two hands with a good funnel. Footwork and quickness profile well on the corners. Arm showed easy effort strength across up to 85 mph with some present carry and accuracy. At the plate, he sits in a medium/even base. Uses a simple forward stride that allows for balance with easy loose hands that load the barrel into an efficient launch position. Swing is shorter to the baseball with some lift through it. Worked the middle of the field with line drives throughout his round showing some present barrel control. In-game he barreled an 89 mph into the right center gap for a double. Verbal commitment to North Carolina. Named to Top Prospects List.
