Ralph Deleon is a 2023 SS/2B/3B with a 5-6 145 lb. frame from Hainesville, IL who attends Grayslake Central. Smaller frame with a lean, athletic build. Ran a 7.01 second sixty yard dash. Primary Shortstop, quick first step proving to have lateral range. Clean glove work scooping it up out front. Works momentum to target during transfer. Accurate to the bag with throws up to 79 mph. Fundamentally sound with feel for the position present. Right-Handed Hitter, even base to start while slightly open. Hanging leg lift to stride. Creates separation before firing the hands. Stays short to the baseball looking to get the bat head out front and pull it. Some pop in the swing when he finds the barrel. Good Student.
