2022 South Prospect Showcase
Henry Quekemeyer is a 2023 C/MIF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Montgomery, TX who attends IMG Academy. Posted a 7.63 in the 60. Primary catcher is developing build with some athleticism behind the plate. Fundamental base in the actions through the bag, receives it soft and arm works well. Lower half should continue to progress quickness as he develops, sound process overall. Some moving pieces in the right-handed swing, stays balanced through impact and swings it with ease. Barrel control is loose, short stroke geared to contact plays well when he stays connected. Room to refine the swing ahead of him. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
