2023 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Jake Cagna is a 2025 2B/RHP/SS with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Egg Harbor Township, NJ who attends Egg Harbor Twp. Cagna works from a medium lean build with additional room to fill out and add strength. As a primary MIF, he showcased quick clean transfers with solid lateral range, making tough plays look routine to both sides. He repeated the throwing mechanics well and topped out at 81 mph across the diamond. On the mound, Cagna started from the 1B side of the rubber with coil to the leg lift while releasing from a low 3/4 slot. He flashed some arm speed with further room to work down the mound and add on to the velo potential. Offensively, the left handed hitter started from an even balanced base with a high hand set and high back elbow producing tons of loud line drive contact to all parts of the field. He displayed advanced bat-to-ball skills with repeatability to the stroke. Posted an exit velo of 85 mph. Ran a 7.28 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
