Sam Russo is a 2023 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Bristol, IN. Medium athletic build with room to get stronger. Sound delivery mechanics with a clean and loose arm action, medium arm circle with a 3/4's release point, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 74 mph with some tailing action. Throws a slurve type breaking ball with some depth for strikes, also showed feel for his change up. Was able and willing to use any of his three pitches at any point in the count. Has feel for pitching and has a good chance to keep improving as he gets stronger.
