Trevor Collins is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Sunnyslope. Ran a 7.31 seance sixty. Primary right-handed pitcher with an average build. Pivots into the side step with a leg lift above the belt as the hands go up over head. Arm works on a longer track through the back getting lost at times with out hindering the timing of the delivery. Fastball sat 82-85 mph from a high three-quarters arm slot with good drive in the lower half. Curveball showed shorter two plane actions through the hitting zone maintaining arm speed and through it hard in the mid 70's. Mixed in a changeup as well at 78 mph with developing feel. Waits back on the ball in the outfield making up for it with his arm strength as he gathers cleanly and made accurate throws topping out at 88 mph. Right-handed hitter, starts with a narrow base and open stance using a leg lift trigger to get back to even with the lower half. Rotates hard through the hitting zone with the upper half showing a line drive approach at the barrel works direct to the baseball. Good student. Named to the 2022 National Underclass West Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
