George Lombard is a 2023 SS/2B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Pinecrest, FL who attends Gulliver Schools. Recorded a 6.53 second 60-yard dash time. Long and lean build with a high waist, plenty of athleticism, and lots of room to project. Primary shortstop with a hyper quick release and very smooth hands. Good lateral agility to both sides with arm strength up to 85 mph across. Good balance and body control and arm plays up due to release. Right-handed hitter with a straight stance and loose, extended swing. Plus bat speed and finishes uphill through contact. Really strong hands with barrel accuracy. Has present juice and frame suggests bigger power coming. Low tension swing that has performed all summer including a 101EV double in game. Terrific student. Verbal commitment to Vanderbilt. Named to the 2022 PG All-American Classic.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
