Tanner Donner is a 2023 SS/UT with a 6-3 182 lb. frame from Parker, CO who attends Chaparral. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, projectable frame with room to add strength throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well to and through the ball and showed off actions in live game play, fields it out front, fast hands and quick transfer, developing actions to the backhand, ball comes out and across the diamond well, projects with added strength. Right-handed hitter, begins with a narrow base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, moving parts at start of swing. Best contact when working on a linear path, can implement additional usages of lower half, showed carry and jump off the barrel to the pull side when on time with front foot. Good student.
