Quinn Finnegan is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Hillsborough, NC who attends Cedar Ridge. Big and strong build for his age, especially in the lower half. Primary pitcher, works from the stretch with a quick leg raise delivery, limited lower half turn or drive to use his strength there, high 3/4's arm slot on his fastball, tends to drop his slot on his secondary pitches. Upper 70's fastball, topped out at 80 mph, mostly straight with good downhill angle. Change up was his best secondary pitch, has good arm speed with some fade, used it frequently early in counts to get ahead, developing curveball spin and feel. More velocity in there right away with increased lower half use. Right handed hitter, hits from a very narrow stance with a big stride into contact, hands stay close and tight, has some gap to gap carry when he gets the barrel out on time. 7.42 runner in the sixty. Plays the outfield when not on the mound, works through the ball well with some idea on his footwork and a long and loose arm stroke, makes accurate throws with some on line carry. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
