Dawson Weller is a 2027 1B/RHP, 3B with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Ottumwa, IA who attends Ottumwa. He has a tall frame for his age with a mature build and good strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.90 seconds. Primary first baseman that has quick feet when working towards the ball. He has a longer arm action and creates nice snap on his throws while being accurate to the bases. Secondary right-handed pitcher that uses a knee to belt leg kick that creates some torque in his motion. He has a short stride down the mound and lands in line with the plate. He throws with a medium arm action from a 3/4 arm slot. His fastball had nice sink with occasional cutting action, making it a tough pitch to hit. His curveball has 12-6 shape with nice downer action. His change up had nice fade and depth to it. He did a nice job of living in the zone with all of his pitches. Right-handed hitter that starts with a medium base in a square stance. He showed nice quick hands through the zone that leads to good barrel whip. He has a line dive approach and looks to hit the ball hard to the pull side.
