2022 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Bubba Coleman is a 2026 SS/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Braselton, GA who attends Buford. Medium size, athletic build. Ran a 7.26 60-yard dash. Versatile infielder and outfielder with the tool set to play any position on the field. Smooth to the baseball with hands working through the ball in the outfield, fluid transition to throw where he showed a well above average throwing arm with low cuttable throws to bases. Attacks the baseball in the infield with clean footwork, efficient angles to the baseball laterally, soft hands out front fielding and a strong arm with throws across the diamond. Right handed hitter that hit from a balanced and slightly open stance. Direct hand path to the baseball with loose wrists and bat speed though the zone. Smooth swing with a gap to gap approach and plenty of hit/power projection. Will only get better as he gets on plane more consistently in games. Showed fastball/curveball on the mound from a low three-quarter arm slot. Fastball topped out at 80 with arm side run and a curveball that he landed in the zone. High level prospect. Named to event Top Prospect List. Great student.
