Joel Santiago is a 2027 C/RHP/UT with a 5-6 135 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Osceola. Recorded a 7.89 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with an athletic frame. Starts from a high stance behind the plate, showing a quick transfer and release. Used a clean arm action and repeated well. Showed some bounce to his footwork in the infield with good athleticism and a clean release. Also worked out in the outfield and moved to the ball with clean actions before throwing from a long arm action and releasing from a high slot. Right-handed hitter and starts from a crouched and slightly open feet. Stays inside the ball with a direct and linear path. Found the barrel to pull side with consistency during the round. Secondary right-handed pitcher and employs a clean delivery with compact movements. Releases from a high-3/4 slot and worked both sides of the plate well. Go-to secondary was a curveball that showed 11-5 shape. Named to the 2022 13u Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
