Carson Tice is a 2023 RHP/ with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Dunwoody, GA who attends Mount Vernon Presbyterian. He ran a 7.30 second sixty. A primary right-handed pitcher with a tall slender build. On the mound he worked from the stretch only attacking hitters on the outer half of the plate with the fastball at 72-79 mph as he pitches into a stiff front side before spinning off glove side with his follow through. The curveball showed varying hand speed with 11-5 shape shape as the primary off speed while the changeup showed more straight in the low 70's but offered third offering as he pounded the zone. In the outfield he comes and gets the ball well, he could carry the momentum into the throws more resulting in more carry but the arm speed projects fine with more to come as he continues to mature. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
