Chandler Jones is a 2025 C/RHP, 3B, MIF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Decatur, GA who attends Decatur. Recorded a 6.94 in the 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a lean and strong lower half sets up to the side and reaches for the ball with a good, quick release while accurately throwing the ball to second base producing a pop time of 2.14. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with an upright stance and a bent knee using quick hands to create good extension and a compact swing that has good impact on the barrel. Secondary right-handed pitcher moves with a full windup into a belt high leg lift. Jones is well-balanced over the backside generating great extension and explosion to the plate out of a high three-quarter arm slot with a very quick arm. He has great command of his fastball that cuts and sinks topping 82 mph while also mixing in a tight, sharp breaking ball with 12/6 action out of the same arm slot. In the outfield, showcases good arm strength and a smooth clean glove action throwing 82 mph to the bases. Also taking ground balls in the infield fielding the ball out front with a smooth, quick release throwing 80 mph across the diamond.
