Ben Moore is a 2022 LHP/1B with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from Mount Airy, MD who attends Linganore. Extra-large frame with a lean build and excellent physical projection. Ran a 7.56 second 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, has a controlled and balanced delivery, uses a longer arm stroke to release but has great arm speed through an extended three-quarters slot generating excellent late life to the arm side on the fastball. Has some deception to his release as he challenges hitters while showing feel for a firm slider with great late bite and a changeup with late fade. Tremendous physical upside with electric present stuff. Also worked out at first base, has some stiffness to his actions but fields it well and shows good arm strength on throws across. Left-handed hitter, has length to the swing but generates good bat speed and finds the barrel at a consistent rate with great impact strength generating some long lofted contact to the pull side. Outstanding student. Named to 2021 National Underclass East Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
