2023 Class of 2026 All-American Games
Jose Doubront is a 2026 3B/RHP/IF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Greenville, SC who attends Greenville High School. Big and strong young build. Primary third baseman on defense, has quick hands and fields the ball cleanly, arm works very well and gets plenty of carry on his throws, developing footwork on his feeds, has the athleticism to continue to improve defensively. Right handed hitter, has a big shift to his backside and big drift into contact, late hand drop to start his swing, lots going on to start his swing, line drive swing at present with solid jump off the barrel, works mostly to the middle of the field. Also pitched and has some potential on the mound. Throws from a very rotational delivery with a compact arm action and tight 3/4's arm slot, lands open on his front side. Upper 80's fastball has very good running life and gets in on hitter's hands, threw his fastball for strikes. Also threw a soft curveball for strikes, tends to slow his arm on this pitch. Very young for the 2026 class, 14U eligible. Excellent student. Named to the Class of 2026 All American Games Top Prospect List.
