Jackson Hunley is a 2023 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Sun Prairie, WI who attends Sun Prairie Ran a 7.16 second sixty. Primary right-handed pitcher with a large lean build showing room to fill out moving forward. Showed some natural cutting action to the fastball at 79-81 mph from a long arm action doing a nice job of staying on line through the back and getting to a high three-quarters arm slot. Was able to hold the velocity pretty well in the outing with an easy delivery that allows him to repeat it and locate the his pitches to both sides of the plate. Mixed in a quality breaking ball with sharp 11-5 break that will allow him to create swings and misses as part of a projectable repertoire. Showed some lateral range on the infield working around the ball in each direction to complete the play with a longer arm action and solid carry across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, starts with a spread stance and even base. The hands work up into the load creating separation pre-swing before working on a flatter plane through the hitting zone with average bat speed as eh uses the entire field with good extension through contact. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
