Brayden Olson is a 2023 RHP/3B, SS with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Saint Croix Falls, WI who attends Saint Croix Falls. Tall and lanky frame with plenty of room to fill. Primary right-handed pitcher, with a long and off line arm action, comes through clean with an athletic delivery. Fluid movements. Fills up the zone and challenges with every pitch. Three- quarters arm slot that works quickly and had efficient innings. Fastball was 88-91 (1971 RPM) and definitely has more left in the tank. Showed a tight slider that was up to 2068 RPM and a curveball that has much bigger shape and spun up to 2369 RPM. Comfortable with the change-up that he killed the spin on well to 1486 RPM. Showed quality secondaries and can throw them all for strikes. Right-handed hitter, starts from a slightly open stance with high hands and a low back elbow, utilizes a longer stride. Smooth and fluid swing with effortless power. Hit multiple home runs in the round. Good student. Purdue commit. Named to the 2023 Pre-Draft Showcase Top Prospect List.
