Logan Shields is a 2026 RHP/2B/OF with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Missouri City, TX who attends Ridge Point. Posted a 7.38 in the 60. Primary RHP is a projectable build with a quick arm and good feel to pitch. Topped the fastball out at 82 mixing a sharp slider with feel to spin and land it often. Fluid operation, showed refined actions and good knowledge of the zone. Split the plate very well with intent and missed a lot of barrels. Advanced slider offering projects as he continues to develop it, arm is loose and maintains well with more velo to come from the advanced young arm. In the outfield the arm plays well, glove skill is fundamental playing behind the ball. Athletic in the infield, good feel to change slots and work through plays. Some moving parts on the right side of the plate, hands are loose and showed some bat to ball skill. Gets extended through contact with some bat speed, room to refine the process and add strength as he develops. Named to the Top Prospects List.
