Kye Jacobs is a 2026 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Frankfort, IN who attends Clinton Prairie. Medium athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Two-way prospect. Primary middle infielder on defense who is a 7.07 runner in the sixty. Has good footwork moving through the baseball and has quick and active feet, will have plenty of lateral range, soft hands to his back hand and gets the glove down early, has an idea on his exchange and release, good arm strength for a freshman across the diamond. Switch-hitter, hits from a similar stance and approach from both sides, spread lower half with a short hands driven swing, high contact middle of the field line drive approach he executes well. Also pitched and has prospect talent on the mound. Works from the stretch with a 3/4's arm slot and good direction down the mound, arm is loose and fast. Fastball sat in the lower 80's and was commanded well, especially up and down, attacked hitters with his fastball and got ahead in counts. Change up was a nice second pitch for him with good arm speed and fading action. Didn't throw a breaking ball this outing. Excellent student. Named to the Indianapolis Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
