Samuel Connevey is a 2021 LHP/1B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Pearland, TX who attends Glenda Dawson. Medium athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Works from the stretch with a long arm action in back and an over the top arm slot, has deception in his delivery. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, did a good job attacking the strike zone with his fastball and working at the knees, gets nice arm side run at times. Short curveball with fair spin and some occasional 1/7 depth. Attacked hitters and pitched with confidence. Key to development will be improving his secondary pitches. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a huge late leg raise that leaves him late at times, flashed some raw bat speed and the ability to get the ball in the air, can improve as a hitter with adjustments. 7.62 runner. Good student.
