Daniel Kim is a 2020 RHP/ with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Delta, BC who attends Sands Secondary. Medium frame with a lean build. Projects for additional strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a simple side step to high leg lift delivery. Stays tall on back side at gather and works to the plate with drop and drive actions. Lands in line with front side at finish. Compact arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters slot. Fastball flashed some jump out of hand with run and sink in the mid 70's, topped at 78 mph. Showed the command to consistently work fastball offering to each edge of the plate. Curveball showed tight 10/5 shape with late depth in the mid 50's. Consistently kept hitters off balance while attacking the strike zone with both offerings. Right handed hitter with a narrow stance and toe tap trigger. Clean hand path to baseball with a fluid, line drive barrel plane through extension. Consistently barreled baseball and created line drive contact to the middle of the field between the gaps.
