2022 Nashville Prospect Showcase
Brody Mann is a 2023 RHP/1B, 3B, UT with a 6-3 188 lb. frame from Fairview, TN who attends Fairview. Mann ran a 7.18 sixty yard dash. Brody showed a tall athletic build with plenty of length and some strength already present. Primary Right Handed Pitcher Brody showed plenty to like on the mound. He works exclusively from the stretch with a belt high leg lift and and inline delivery to the plate. The hands start low while shifting high and breaking at the chest in the delivery. He is very aggressive with the lower half as he gains a ton of ground down the slope as well. He comes from a straight over the top arm slot with a quick shoulder. The ball jumps out of his hand at release and gets on the hitters quick. Brody showed a four pitch mix with a hard slider with tight spin and frisbee break, a 12-6 shaped breaking ball with some depth and a CH with some late fade to it. In the infield he showed good mobility and footwork across the infield with clean glove actions. There was plenty of accuracy on the throws with some carry across the infield. Right handed hitter has a very narrow upright stance. He works with a hanging leg lift trigger with a good handset and load shift of the hands. There was plenty of bat speed as well as strength in the hands. He works a left center to left field approach. Brody was named to the 2022 Nashville Prospect Showcase Top Team List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
