2022 Sunshine South Showcase (Tues/Wed)
Grayson Lincecum is a 2023 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-4 220 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Memorial. Large frame with good present physicality. Ran a 7.32 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, good athlete for size, moves well laterally and works being it, good direction working through it into release and showed good arm strength across clocked up to 86 mph on his throws. Also pitches, under control delivery with clean movements to release, medium arm stroke with good present arm speed, extends well, worked in the 84-88 range with the fastball, gets across his body to give a tougher look, sharp downer breaking ball with spin over 2300 and late sweeping slider are both solid secondaries. Righthanded hitter, big present juice, swings it hard with good length and bat speed, handles the barrel well and gets on it often, very explosive torque and produced some very loud shots to the pull side. Great student. Named to 2022 Sunshine South Showcase Top Prospect List.
