Jackson Dilorenzo is a 2023 RHP/3B, IF with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Cortlandt Manor, NY who attends Walter Panas. Recorded a 7.58 second sixty-yard dash time. Large, physical looking frame with plenty of time to physically mature. Primary right-handed pitcher; fairly simple delivery with good rhythm and tempo throughout and efficient lower half movements down the slope. Works from a loose three-quarters arm slot with easy, inline takeaway and quickness on the backside of the arm stroke. Fastball worked in the low-80s for the duration of his outing, topping out at 84 mph with natural arm-side life through the zone. Shows ability to command both sides of the plate with both fastball and curveball effectively. Curveball shows potential for true swing-and-miss offering, generating empty swings due to hard biting tilt and late depth. Secondary third baseman with a solid and fundamentally sound skill set. Aggressive approach with elongated actions into the fielding process, clean funnel out in front and present arm strength on his throws. Displayed online, accurate throws recorded up to 83 mph in drills. Right-handed hitter, even based stance with minimal wasted movements, strong hands and leverage out in front. Middle-of-the field approach with extremely consistent bat-to-ball skills, feel for the barrel and power potential to the pull-side. Plenty of projection remaining with intriguing two-way potential. Excellent Student. Named to the 2020 Perfect Game Mid Atlantic Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
