Luca Pipia is a 2023 OF/C with a 6-1 177 lb. frame from Dix Hills, NY who attends Half Hollow Hills West. Recorded a 5.19 second forty-yard dash time. Medium, athletic frame with long levers and room to add strength. Primary outfielder with aggressive actions into the fielding process. Exhibits quick feet and a clean gather off his front front, while carrying some momentum into release. Recorded arm strength up to 79 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, slightly open stance with an exaggerated high hand set, high back elbow and small hover trigger. Hands driven swing with pullside approach and developing bat-to-ball skills. Best impact was to the pullside, displays compact bat speed and will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments and additional strength. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
