Cooper Moreno is a 2025 MIF/RHP/C/2B/3B/SS/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Kell. Moreno works from a medium build with additional room to fill out and add strength in the future. He provided value at a range of defensive positions during his weekend, starting from the IF where Moreno worked through the ball well with controlled footwork to produce accurate throws across the diamond from a lower slot up to 78 mph. He flashed a full arm action in the OF with athletic movements that successfully attacked the baseball. On the mound, the righty displayed a FB/CB mix and challenged hitters on both sides of the dish to record outs efficiently up to 80 mph. The breaker worked 11-5 with sweeping action. Offensively, Moreno started from a slightly open stance flashing a level bat path through the zone to generate consistent pull side contact. Expect power potential to increase as the stroke becomes more repeatable. Ran a 7.49 sixty yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
