Angel Davila is a 2023 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-4 128 lb. frame from New Caney, TX who attends New Caney. Smaller young athletic build. 7.18 runner, has athleticism and bounce to his actions on defense, shows range and balance and the ability to make adjustments moving to the ball, hands work well and plays low behind the ball, second base look but will be solid wherever he plays. Right handed hitter, hits from a wrapped barrel start, crouched stance with a toe tap load and quiet hands, short downward swing plane, contact middle of the field approach. Also pitched, long and loose arm stroke, works from the stretch, high 3/4's slot. Fastball topped out at 74 mph with occasional arm side life, soft sweeping curveball.
