Jake Nolte is a 2022 RHP/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Valrico, FL who attends Bloomingdale HS. Medium frame and build with athleticism throughout and room to add strength. Primary righthanded pitcher who only pitched during the event. Side step into a leg lift above the belt with a compact, online arm stroke. Compact mechanics and a high three-quarters arm slot. Fields position well and fastball topped out at 80 mph with cutting action. Not afraid to challenge hitters and pitch up in the strike zone. Changeup shows some arm side fading action and will throw it to righthanded hitters too. Flashed some power to the curveball and can throw three pitches for strikes. Good command of the fastball and pounded the strike zone. Holds velocity well and knows how to mix his pitches. Tremendous student.
