Meridian Leffew is a 2026 SS/2B/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Mount Holly, NC who attends Gaston Christian. Nice young athletic build with plenty of physical projection. 7.52 runner in the sixty. Middle infielder with very fluid and smooth actions defensively, easy mover with active feet and good lateral actions, hands are quick and sure, makes accurate throws with some young carry. Has the chance to be an impact defender in a few years. Right handed hitter, sets up open with a deep hand load, loose and extended swing with some young bat speed and an accurate barrel, made line drive contact to all fields. Will keep improving as he gets stronger and more physically mature. Named to the Atlantic Coast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
