Stephen Sepulveda is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends Americas. Medium frame with a solid athletic build. Ran a 7.04 second 60-yard dash, speaks to athleticism on the mound. Primary right-handed pitcher, only pitched at this event. stretch only delivery, clean mechanically with fluidity and consistency in how well he gets down the mound. Engages the ground and gets into his backside well, good direction and life to the release. Lots of life to the fastball, worked in the 89-91 range with it for the most part, able to miss bats with it. Slider was his go-to offering, spins it well in the mid-70s with hard, late lateral bite. Tunnels it well off the fastball and got a large handful of swing-and-misses. Intriguing mix of the two, more in the tank too. Named to 2022 Sunshine Texas Showcase Top Prospect List.
