Jaxon Hansen is a 2021 SS/RHP, IF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Abilene, TX who attends Wylie HS. Recorded a 6.87 second 60-yard dash time. Compact build with strength and physicality present on the frame. Primary shortstop with good energy and athleticism to both sides. Very good arm strength recorded up to 87 mph. Smooth hands on transitions and follows through on throws nicely. Secondary righthanded pitcher with an over the top release and a longer arm stroke in the back. Online delivery and not afraid to challenge up in the zone. Sharp breaking ball with good command of his secondary pitches. Flashed a straight changeup to complete the three pitch repertoire. Righthanded hitter with a wide base and medium leg kick. Good bat speed and gets the ball into the air with leverage and jump. Hips torque nicely and gets on plane quickly. Good strength and power potential. Good student. Named to the Sunshine South TP List.
