Jake Nolan is a 2022 RHP with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Vero Beach, FL who attends Vero Beach. Large frame with length to limbs and plenty of room to fill. Right-handed pitcher only, starts with a simple side step to a leg lift just above the belt, balanced at the gather point and uses athleticism to drive down the mound. Long arm stroke with good arm speed through a high three-quarters slot. Fastball shows sinking life to the arm side, stayed in the zone with it throughout and held velocity across all four innings. Breaking ball is a true swing and miss pitch for the long term with late downer bite and some power to the pitch with the ability to land it down in the zone in virtually any count. Works with great tempo and good pace to the operation with four very quick and efficient innings in his outing. Outstanding student. Named to 2020 Florida Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
