Reid Hensley is a 2021 C/RHP/IF with a 6-0 187 lb. frame from Lufkin, TX who attends Lufkin HS. Recorded an 8.00 second 60-yard dash time. Large frame with some strength and physicality present throughout. Primary catcher with solid receiving skills and very good arm strength. Longer transition to the throwing hand with good accuracy. Arm strength is best tool with throws recorded up to 81 mph. Secondary righthanded pitcher with good arm strength and a higher arm slot. Power fastball and attacked hitters with it primarily. Clean arm stroke in the back with some arm speed. Mixed in a softer curveball. Righthanded hitter with an open and spread stance to start. High back elbow and has strength and bat speed. Longer swing path with coil at the top of the load. Good student. Named to the Sunshine South TP List.
