2023 New York Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Max Hilsenroth is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Centerport, NY who attends Harborfields. Long limbed athletic build with lots of physical projection. Has a slow paced full hands over head delivery with a deep arm takeaway in back, sinks into his lower half well and gets extension and drive downhill, arm action is loose and clean with a 3/4's release slot. Primary fastball pitcher, worked in the mid-80's consistently with some sinking action down in the zone and did a good job throwing strikes and attacking hitters. Flashed a curveball in warm ups and threw one change up against hitters but otherwise just threw fastballs, will have to further develop his other pitches as a key to his overall development. Outstanding student. Named to the New York Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
