Lukas Geer is a 2022 SS/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Rockville, MD who attends Richard Montgomery HS. Recorded a 5.23 second 40-yard dash time. Large frame with broad shoulders and a very projectable frame physically. Primary shortstop who worked quickly to both sides with short, sure steps to the baseball. Longer gather with a short arm stroke and fields out in front with two hands. Solid arm strength recorded up to 81 mph across the diamond with some carry. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance and a hanging leg lift trigger into the stride. Flashes some barrel whip with a longer swing path. Some loft to the frame and shifts weight hard moving forward. Projectable swing that will improve with additional strength. Good student.
