Alex De Leon is a 2022 3B/C with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Lakeway, TX who attends Lake Travis HS. Recorded a 7.38 second 60-yard dash time. Well-built frame with strength throughout the lower half. Primary third baseman with a higher arm slot and short arm stroke. Deeper funnel and has deliberate overall actions. Arm strength is currently developing and topped out at 68 mph across. Secondary catcher with a higher set up and sure hands while receiving. Deliberate transition and will improve with added arm strength. Righthanded hitter with an upright wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Spread open stance with a downhill swing plane. Has some raw strength off the barrel and can unlock power with a few adjustments to the swing. Good student.
