Xavier Neyens is a 2025 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Mount Vernon, WA who attends Mount Vernon. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout the frame. Ran a 7.33 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set behind the plate with loose and athletic actions, compact arm action with real strength and carry on throws to second base, high level tools behind the dish, blocks well moving to either side. Arm strength stands out on throws across the infield, extra step moving through the ball, will continue to develop actions in the dirt, arm plays on the left side. Also pitched, similar compact arm action through the back working to a high three-quarters release point, utilizes lower half well and controls body coming down the mound. Fastball topped out at 85 mph and shows life through the zone, ball jumps on hitters up in the zone. Two-plane shape to the slider up to 74 mph and showed a changeup at 78 mph with maintained arm speed. Left-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set; loads them back at start of swing, good position at launch. Swings with intent and looks to lift at the point of contact, turns over the barrel well and shows strength and carry off of the barrel when squared, real strength in hands. Very good student. Verbal commitment to Oregon State. Named to the 2021 14u PG Select Festival.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
