Erik Polanco is a 2023 SS/OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Santa Clarita, CA who attends Saugus. Lean medium size frame. Ran a 7.03 60-yard dash. An athlete in the field with the combination of speed, quickness and arm strength to offer true defensive versatility. Has fundamental footwork to and through the baseball in the outfield with softer hands fielding it out front and well above average arm strength throwing to bases. Fundamental infield footwork as well with some lateral range, softer hands, and above average arm strength. A right handed hitter at the plate with a wide base and toe tap timing. A quick swing with a direct hand path and developing strength. Showed feel for the barrel, and clean hands extending through the baseball when on time. Solid foundation to build upon as he continues to add some strength at the plate. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
