Carson Seeman is a 2021 C/IF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Auburn, CA who attends Placer. Large athletic build, primary catcher. Clean exchanges and a low even stance behind the plate. Slightly long arm action that lives around the second base bag. Posted a 2.06 second pop time to second base. In the infield, makes good first step reads, quick feet, glove work is still developing. Arm is strong across the diamond. On the mound, a longer arm action from a three-quarters arm slot. Fastball sits around 75-to-78 mph and fills up the zone well. 11-to-5 shaped breaking ball has a small shape and some sharp quick bite to it but is still developing depth. At the plate, has a crouched open stance. Stays compact throughout, hands are direct to the baseball. Lower half is still developing but flat barrel plane and present pop when barreled. Excellent student with a 4.0 GPA.
