Dallas Deas is a 2021 OF/2B with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends North Cobb Christian. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Ran a quick 6.63 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, works with a great first step as he roams the outfield with gap to gap range. Aggressive into the baseball as he gathers it cleanly and carries weight well into throws. Arm strength starting to show as he threw it 86 mph during drills. Advanced feel for the position and projects well here. Made an outstanding catch in the left-center gap in game that saved an extra-base hit. Secondary Infielder, sitting back on the baseball as he looks to keep it in front of him. Proved to have lateral range and worked athletically around the baseball. Quick transfer and was accurate with throws. Fits the second base profile well. Switch Hitter, from the left-side, starting open and relaxed. Great hand-eye coordination showing as he is short and simple to the baseball. Proved he could spray it to all fields on a line. From the right-side, starting open here as well with pinched knees. Similar tendencies from this side as he found the barrel with a short, compact swing path. Proved to have some power to the pull-side as well. Great Student.
