Trystan Vrieling is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Kennewick, WA who attends Kamiakin HS. Tall and slender athletic build, plenty of physical projection and room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, long and loose swing with a simple and repeatable load and trigger, has some lift out front when he gets extended, pull approach, hitting tools to keep improving as he gets stronger. Has good footwork in the outfield and good hands through the ball, makes soft accurate throws from a high 3/4's arm slot. Also pitched, well paced delivery, stays tall and balanced over the rubber well, clean arm circle with a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 77 mph with occasional arm side running action. Curveball has 12/6 shape with good spin and solid depth, filled up the strike zone with both pitches. Good athlete who just needs to get stronger.
