Garrett Dropp is a 2022 SS/OF with a 6-0 176 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends Blessed Trinity Cath. Recorded a 6.69 second 60-yard dash time. Primary shortstop with a medium frame and slender frame with room to fill. Good hands with two-hand gather out front and a quick exchange. Good feel moving laterally getting around the ball and keeping his momentum to the bases. Made accurate throws across the diamond up to 80 mph with one-hop accuracy from deep in the 5.5 hole. Present athleticism with quickness and internal time-clock to make throws from different slots. Right-handed hitter with a pinched front-knee trigger to get separation with a deep hands load. Finds the barrel with lifted swing path to the pull side with some weight-shift to the backside after contact. Longer hands finish with some impact and loft to the pull side. Excellent student with a 3.9 GPA.
