Hayden Cockman is a 2022 C/3B, OF with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Land O Lakes, FL who attends James W. Mitchell. Recorded a 6.94 60-yard dsah time. Primary catcher with a sturdy frame and present lower-half strength. Begins with very staggered feet behind the plate. Showed quick feet and repeated mechanics really well. Got rid of the ball quickly and used a short arm action before releasing from a higher slot. Also worked from the outfield. Fielded the ball out front and showed one hop accuracy and good arm strength. Reached 86 mph from the outfield. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with slightly open feet. Whips the barrel through the zone well and fires the hips. Showcased strength at the point of contact. Excellent student. named to Florida Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
